Letters from a Stone Cold Killer
In a motel suite miles from anywhere, a hired gunman with a conflicted past examines his choices in life. Teetering on the brink of madness this modern day cowboy pens a love letter home to his wife and young son. This homage to the classic Western genre explores the psyche of a solitary rogue and the inescapable burdens of living life as a cold killer.
Award winning play-write Sean Harris Oliver and his team at Hardline productions approached us with this project inspired by Sam Shepard’s poems. His words, musical and deeply affecting, evoke classical western imagery full of deserts, animals and western music.
Also, Sam Shepard is fucking weird.
Would you love me more if I wasn’t a cold killer?
